Ann in, Ann out

The remaining 7 housemates had an awarding ceremony of their own, where they hung medals on their personal bets for the top 3 spots. Most of them got multiple awards from their peers. “It’s really great because my housemates think I’m doing really well, “shared Ryan. Ivan had the same feeling, “I’m very thankful for the support that my housemates give me.” Devon and Fretzie weren’t shy to acknowledge their worth as Big Winners, a choice backed up by the vote of their other housemates.
Not all got the vote, though. James and Ann were left on the sidelines on the internal placement. “Medyo sad,” admitted Ann Li. “Kasi parang hindi ko nagawa ang best ko.” Was it a premonition of what was to come? Ann must have thought so, because she was already teary-eyed and obviously more apprehensive than the rest even before the final eviction was announced.
Before all the exit drama, Ann was still able to do good to someone dear to her: her caregiver, Yaya Glo. With her since childhood, Yaya Glo was her constant companion. So close were the two, that Ann naturally learned the Visayan language along with Chinese. In exchange for a brand new cellphone, Ann agreed to do household chores, something that she just learned inside Kuya’s house. Wearing roller blades and a cute outfit, Ann shimmied her way around chores. The second part of her task was to teach Ryan and James how to sing a traditional Visayan folk song, “Usahay”, and perform it in front of the other housemates. With the rest crooning along, Ann finished her task with flying colors.
Unfortunately, such was not the case come eviction night. Live on a Wednesday night, Kuya’s angels, Mariel Rodriguez, Bianca Gonzalez and Toni Gonzaga mounted the stage in anticipation of the season’s last evictee. With 14.63%, Ann may have been the 4th placer among all housemates, but she had the lowest percentage among the Teenternationals. All housemates rushed to her and peppered her with hugs and kisses as soon as the announcement was made. “I’m gonna watch you guys everyday,” she promised.
She was welcomed by her Mommy Vicky and all the cheering fans. The Diligent Daughter of Taiwan was speechless at the sight of all her supporters, and even more at a loss when she watched the AVP of her PBB highlights. Though it has yet to really sink in, Ann stated, “I miss all my friends and housemates. I’m gonna miss them, pati si Kuya!”
Did she want to go back in? Without a doubt. In a snap, her wish came true. Just minutes after exiting the house, Ann LI was trotting back in and into the Apartment, where she was greeted by her ex-housemates. What special task is Kuya up to?
